My name is Sigi Loya and I own AFFORDABLE BUSINESS VALUATIONS.

I own a business coaching firm based in Pittsburgh, PA. In owning different businesses I’ve learned to appreciate knowing what your business is worth. Over the years I’ve noticed that most business owners think their business is worth MORE than it actually is. And since there’s so much riding on the value of the business, whether it’s your exit strategy, financial planning, bank loans, investor requirements, ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) or other uses, knowing the “real” value of the business is paramount.

My name is Sigi Loya and I own AFFORDABLE BUSINESS VALUATIONS as well as a business owner coaching firm based in Pittsburgh, PA. Having owned different firms, as well as working with many business owners, I recognize the power of knowing the true value of a business.

Over the years I’ve noticed that most business owners overvalue their businesses. And since there’s so much riding on the value, whether it’s the exit strategy, financial planning, bank loans, investor requirements, an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) or other uses, knowing the “real” value of the business is paramount.

Imagine thinking you were going to net $3,000,000 for your retirement through a business sale and only ending up with $1,500,000. Wouldn’t you want to know that now so that you can make adjustments?

Or, imagine owning a company that’s currently worth $1,500,000 but you need $3,000,000 to retire. A valuation can point out the financial areas (e.g. on the balance sheet) on which to focus to reach your $3,000,000 goal.

The reason most small business owners do not get a valuation is cost. Depending on the complexity, most valuations cost between $8,000 - $20,000 per client. Our valuations cost $3,250

I’m rooting for small business owners because they put it on the line every day. No one what it’s like to own a business except another business owner. My hope is by offering a lower cost option, more owners will take advantage of this invaluable information.

We look forward to getting to know you!
